hi

i am having trouble figuring out what mod chip i have, perhaps u guys can help . my wii is D2B us and currently on 3.0u FW and i am also wondering if its safe to upgrade my wii to the latest official FW thank u very much

While I honestly dont know what modchip that is, I will say (once again) NO UPDATES CAN DETECT MODCHIPS!

hmm will it help if i post some more pic of my mode chip because i realy want know and when i put in a backed up game in my wii i get error #001 i have some backed up game that i got the wii with they work but not mine any the main reason i posted was because i wanted to know what i mod chip i had (should i install a new modchip) and perhaps u can tell me which one) anys sorry for asking the update question and thank u

Some newer games can detect modchips and require updating the chip. But that has nothing to do with the wii firmware.

Unfortunately I cant tell you how to update that particular modchip or even if its updatable.
