I have recently started making back-ups of my Xbox 360 games. I have follwed the guides and after some basic trial and error I have a system that seems to be working pretty well. I have a couple of questions and I'm hoping someone can help me out:

1) It seems that 1 out of 4 of my (Imgburn) burns will give an error right at the very end of the burn - 'Unable to finalize disc'. I've learned that these discs still play fine, and if I burn the image again it doesn't happen. I'm chalking this up to bad media, even though it is Ritek dye. I've ordered some new blanks to take care of it (hopefully) but I am wondering if these games are safe to play? I ran them through Mulleter and they passed all the checks fine. Are they still stealth even though the disc wasn't finalized?

2) Splitvid - DVDMulleter has checked several of my images and told me everything was fine. I then proceed to burn using XBC with IMgburn as the engine and XBC sometimes throws a warning that Splitvid isn't present. Is Splitvid important? Do I need to ensure it is there always? (I use iXtreme 1.4 on a hitachi drive)

3) Lastly I am pretty sure I know the answer to this is no, but is there any way to verify any of the above on a burned disc if I don't have a Kreon drive?

How do you make backups without a Kreon Drive? You download them or use WXripper?

It's a shared drive, a couple of us went in and decided to just get one, we use a portable HD to sneakernet the images back and forth. I can get access to it if I need to, but if I really need one I'll just purchase one.
