Here's the deal:

Its an ORIGINAL Xbox that was SOFTmodded to a custom dashboard. I have used it to backup games to the HDD and been successful. THIS CONSOLE WILL NOT COME WITH ANY GAME BACKUPS PER FORUM RULES. I have played modded levels of Halo (yes the original) and Halo 2 that were edited on the PC and transfered via FTP, which works FLAWLESSLY! I was able to back up the entire disc of Midway Arcade Treasures for an example.

Some knowledge will be required to update the dash because for some reason I am unable to update it to a version that will play DVD's. I have tried several methods but someone with more expertise could probably figure it out, my problem is that I have a PS3 and it serves all my needs and I don't want this console to go to waste.

If you need assistance I'm sure you could find it HERE on afterdawn in the forums. I have used these forums for many of the things I've done with it.

The HDD is the ORIGINAL 8gig drive and could be updated by someone who wants to take the time to do it. I have NEVER opened this console.

It also comes with the version of the power cord that has a built-in surge protector, and 1 controller. I also have an older "duke" controller (the big one), but it has been used to the point that not every button works all the time. If you also want that I would be willing to throw it in for free.. maybe you want to mess around with it... I dunno.

It is currently running an older version of EVOX (Evolution X) and I have the ISO of a more current version burned to a CDR. I will include this as well for those interested in an attempt at an upgrade.
