I've seem very similar posts elsewhere but nobody seems to have any idea...

What is Dark Alex's Savestate and what does it do exactly - oh and please explain in 'BASIC' terms!!

It is a plugin that dumps your PSP RAM to your memory stick during a UMD game or ISO game, which can be restored during said game so you can resume at a spot if you have difficulty beating the software.

Oh, lamens terms? Its something that lets you pick a spot in a game, save where you are, and go from there again if you die.
