Details: I am using nero 7 with vision v4. on XP sp2

The problem I am having is this. I have used vision to create a menu page importing a background picture and the 2 video items I want. I have sorted the layout etc. I burn using a Pioneer 112D onto dual layer +r discs. The project burns fine and on my PC fires up and goes to the menu. On my stand alone (Sony) I insert the disc it is detected I get a disk loading displayed on the screen then nothing the disk doesn't auto start. If I prompt it with the play button it starts but goes to the 1st video. Menu button brings the menu screen up and it functions fine.I Have checked the option settings and I have selected the start at the menu screen option. Is this due to not finalising the disk the "help" files say how to do this and unless I'm being particularly thick it doesn't seem an option. I tried the trial of Nero8 and this has a finalisation option.
I removed 8 and restored 7 was the time to complete the project on 8 was 4 times as long (4 Hours).
