If i try to copy it via Windows explorer, i get this error - "Cannot copy [diskname]. Invalid MS-DOS function".

If i try to copy it with Alcohol 120% i get this error - "illegal mode for this track".

The mdf file is a perfect clone of a dvd image so i am guessing this is the copy protection? The thing is that since i burned the image as data i expected to be able to copy the file back to my harddrive with no problems. Obviously that isn't working and i'm running out of ideas.

just a bit of an update.

Using Burnout, i am able to determine that this .mdf image is using safedisk 2-4 protection. Now so i have a copy protected .mdf image on a disk and i can't get it off the disk. lol
