hey guys im new to this site and i looked around to see if i was posting in the right place but i havent then im sorry

anyway im not so cleaver when it comes down to things like sata cards etc so i was wondering can i flash the benq vad6038 drive with my GA-P35-DS3 motherboard

any replies would be wicked

I have read that some motherboards are able to flash a 360 drive. I just don't know which ones. It is better to just buy the sata card so you can avoid flashing your drive wrong. It better to be safe than sorry.

yeah i totally agree money is tight at the minet tho if i knew the specific thing that was needed from the CARD/MOBO then maybe id be able to make a better call on it

get the via 6421 card, it will cost you like 15 bucks, and works with samsungs, and benq drives. onboard sata can pretty much flash any hitachi drives, and some boards can do the benqs, not sure which ones though.

you need a certain nForce motherboard; not worth it since you can get the via6421 card and flash most drives with it, and can add it to any computer.

you have a gigabyte board with the intel p35. only nVidia boards have nForce.
