I recently got a used psp series 1000 from ebay. I updated the software system from 2.01 to 4.01. How can I play download games from memory stick? What files should I have in memory stick? Thanks.

How about reading the stickied guides available.

As well you should have asked how to do this before upgrading to 4.01 firmware. Would have been more options for you if you stayed at 2.01 firmware. Now the only option you have is Pandora Battery + Magic memory Stick.
