3.2U Wii not running several programs

Hi all,

I have a 3.2U updated Wii (D2B with legs cut) that has been modded and given to me as a present for my birthday. Out of the three major Nintendo Games that gives people fits, I can run Super Mario Galaxy just fine. However, Mario Kart gives me a #001 error and Super Smash Bros Brawl would not read (I have all three legitimate discs.) I have run their backups as well and only SMG runs fine. I have tried updating with Wiikey 1.9s, however it would not update. My guess is that I don't have a Wiikey, but some other modchip (I have not opened it under the hood.)

Please advice on which update for my modchip would be able to correct the Mario Kart and the Smash Problem, as I definitely do not have a Wiikey.

Well if you don't know what chip you have, how do we ?

Open it up and find out what you have.

3.3U Wii systems are not all that bad either. All that has been effected was Trucha signed disc and they can be booted via Gecko OS.

But as ggbarnum siad. We need to know what Modchop you have before we can help.

I know the workarounds of 3.3, I just can't stand no be able to move my wad files to my sd card and back.
