Hello All,

My wii USA-NTSC D2CKey was semi-bricked by a update of Mario-Kart PAL version. I forgot to check what is my preview firmware version and I cannot the setting menu.
Anybody can help me to fix this issue...

Best Regards,
Jackoko

You need to update to higher firmware, that is 3.3, using a disc. That means either waiting for a game to be released with the 3.3 update on or finding a stand alone update disk if one has been created yet.

[edit] and obviously that disk has to be for your region.

You heard wrong.

3.3 has no issues with anything except trucha signed disks which can be resolved by using Gecko OS, and the original TP hack which has now been updated to have a work around.

Anyone saying that the 3.3 update stopped their chip working is just mistaken about the facts.

[edit] and anyway, you have no choice, its the only you can unbrick your wii.

No as I said before, you will have to wait for a game to be released with 3.3 on it, not sure how long that will be. Or you can use a stand alone update disk that some people create just for the purpose of unbricking wii's, not sure if anyone has created one for 3.3 yet, you would have to have a search.

There is a disc-fix that has been released that will fix semi-brick issues. You just download the ISO of your region and burn to disc. Then insert the disc and it will undo the semi-brick.

Go to this guide HERE for more information and links to the ISO you need to download.

Try searching next time for your answer. More then likely if you have a question 99% of the time it has already been asked and answered.
