i've got two problems. i've got a ps3 version 7 try to intsall a messiah 2 chip.

1)in the process of the install i accidentally ripped the clip where the fan attaches off the motherboard. can i simply get an exteral fan, such as where i can hook it up to my usb port? or is there a way to reinstall the clip to the motherboard?

2) the bigger problem, i think, is that my screen is black upon booting a disc. it sounds like the disk is catching but i'm pretty sure is not spinning. the install manuel i've got says to troubleshoot this problem,:
"Assuming thta the electrons were intitally whirling, then this is usually a mis-install on the BIOS often MNOP. If the electrons never happened then some wires are likely snagged when you put the ps2 back togeteher and possibly a fuse has blown."
What are the "electrons"? And if a fuse has indeed blown how do know which one and how do i replace it?

Did i destroy my ps2? is it savable? Should of had it professionally done!!!
