Ive got no sound with WinDVD5 with Win2K when playing a DVD . Real player works fine(not with DVD though) so I know my hardware is OK. Any ideas, suspect its something to do with codecs although not sure how to go about investigating that ! Trial version of PowerDVD works ok for 5 minutes until the trial runs out.

Hi...I've recently installed Win DVD on a laptop and have the same problem....Your thread was from January...were you able to fix the problem...and how?
