I have a PS2 modded with a super7 modchip [don't know the version :-( ]. I got into the configuration menu by pressing circle+triangle during the boot. After I made the required changes, I pressed the start button to save the changes. The menu just hangs after that. I can't make any further changes and nothing seems to happen. When I reset the console, the changes haven't been saved.
I am trying to change the screen fix from color to either PAL or NTSC (my TV supports both).
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated as I can't play some games on my new TV because of this. My new TV is a panasonic TH-42pv70h. I can play the games on my old TV (Panasonic tau - about 8 years old!!). When I switch on some of the games, all I get is black and white video.
Thanx a ton in advance.

PS: I had posted this on another forum room but didn't get any response. Am a liitle anxious about this as I'd like to play some of these games on my new TV and don't want to keep shifting between TVs
When I boot the console, it shows "super 7" on the screen and after the initial sony logo, I get to see the super7 again. During boot when I press circle + triangle to get into the modchip config page, the menu shows super 7 again.

Apologies. There was no intention to ask you to do that. Just that I am a bit confused about this whole thing and am not sure where I can get more information from. That was the only piece of information that I had and I thought it would help in figuring out the problem. I have tried to search various forums and sites but could not get much leads into the super7 modchip.
Any thoughts on this? I'd really like to play the games on my new TV. Is there any alternative way of playing the same? Like maybe some configuration on my TV? The problem is that when I play some of these games, (example being Medal of honour european assault), they end up being a bit shaky and black and white. When I connected the game 'Black', it ended up black and white when I chose the default 50Hz setting but played fine in colour when I chose the 60 Hz setting.
