hi guys need yer help here. i have d2cpro chip & i'll install it in my cousins wii,problem is how can i tell if he has d2c or d2c2 drive? coz i think d2cpro would work on d2c only. thanks in advance.

my drive chip says d2c but its definatly a d2c2 its weird i know.

anyway i bought a d2pro and it works fine but the d2pro chip does have a sticker on the back sayinf d2c2 compliant.

fitted and it works fine on my wii!

Both D2C and D2C2 chips have D2C printed on them which is really helpful. However the D2C2 chips do not have a serial number printed on them as well like the older D2C chips. Unfortunately the only way of checking is to open your Wii up and have a look.

if i open up the wii,what should i look for on the drive so i would know if its a d2c or d2c2 drive? thanks!
