my xbox keeps flashing 3 red lights

I play alot of call of duty 4 modern warfare
and one day when i was playing it just frezes out of no were so i turn it off and turn it back on and it flashes 3 red lights and a blank screen and when i unplug it and plug it bac in it doe the same thing.

when it's blinking, hold the sync button, and press the eject button. it will change everytime you press the eject button (four times), then go back blinking 3RROD.

Sounds like hardware failure. Dont attempt the red ring repair. Just send it back to microsoft its probably still covered under warrenty unless you bought one of the first xbox360's. However that being said you run the risk of recieving a lite-on drive in return.
