Movie starts from the middle or from the credits!

Hey guys, recently all my movies have been starting from the middle or the end. When I stick it in my DVD player, it just begins playing, no menu or no opening credits! I am using DVD+R (verbatim movie reel and sony's). Am I doing something wrong, is there something I should be doing?

Try updating your process.
Hd Decrypter to rip.
Dvd Shrink to compress or transcode.
Imgburn to burn.
Taiyo Yuden , Verbatim, or Sony .
booktype to DVD -ROM for best compatibility.
