cfw + composite tv out = ?

So a stock psp can output video and music with the composite cable but cant output games without the component cable. Does the cfw give it the ability to output games with the composite or do I need the component? Just checking before I order one of them.

I wish I knew. This is the PS3 section though, you might have better luck if you post in the PSP hardware section.

no. all psp games are in 480p, and must use components, custom firmware or not.

Using the FuSa plugin, you can output in full screen over any connection. But, it only works on some games (but it is getting better)

thanks for the help... sorry about wrong forum, forgot where I was. :)

Looks like I'll be getting the component cable... All I wanted to be able to do was use my psp on a hotel tv when I'm on the road but I doubt the cheaper hotels will have tv's with component input.
