Pandora Battery charging issue

Well I successfully removed the pin that converts the battery, but I cannot downgrade unless the battery is 50% charged. Whenever I try and charge the battery, it starts charging, then stops. When I enter the battery info screen, it says Charge Level: 22% Status: Completed.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hold L+Triangle from the beginning of the process to until it starts flashing the files to override the check.
Does anorexia induce constipation?

Downgrade with the charger plugged in (pray you don't get a electrical blackout), and remove the pandora after it's booted up to pandora screen.
Use the L+triangle override command to buypass the battery check.

Thank for the help, it worked, but another issue came up. When I turn on the PSP after the patching is complete and it tells me to restart, the screen goes dark. The starting sound still plays, but I'm unable to see anything.

Well I meant "goes dark" as in shuts off. But that oddly worked anyways... Everything seems to be fine now, I have 1.50, thanks for your help.

Oh, and one last thing, do you recommend DevHook or a CFW?

DevHook hasn't been used for about a year. CFW is far superior.
Have fun with your new hacked PSP :)
