Hey everyone I've been looking but haven't seen a way of changing the led colors on the 360 with some sort of software is there a way of doing it without changing the led light?

No unfortunatly not. I will tell you from first hand experience having done the ring of light on mine. Spend the 40$ and buy one from somewhere. The leds are about the size of a pen tip and you have to solder on two sides. It wasnt fun. = )
