Ok i need some help with backing up my 60$ investment. I have a Xbox 360 that is already flashed and is ready to play burned games. Now this is where i need help. When i put in bought game in my pc theres and error. I heard that you have to have a certain type of drive to that it can read the disk. Which driver do i need to buy? Also what if you download games off utorrent or something like that and 69 files are all .rar. I know you have to find the .dvd file or the iso (dosen't matter) and then burn it on a dual layer disk. If so do i need to compress the files to that the iso and .dvd file show up.

to put this as simple as i can you need a program called winrar. download the files for the game. it will be alot of files that will take up several gigs of space. after you have winrar installed right click on the file and click extract. you also might need a program called quick par. all of those rar files also come with .par files. the .rar. is the actual game data, and the .par is in case the .rars get corrupted. if they are corupted they wont extract so you have to just install quick par, double click onn the .par file and it will self repair. after it repairs itself, just go back to step on and extract the .rar file. you will need two more things after this step. this is the most important, make sure you have verbatium dual layer dvds and you burn them at either 2.4x or 4x. download a free program called imgburn to burn the file the extraction produces. the discs are expensive but dont be fooled typically no other media will work except the verbatiums. you may also want to check the .nfo file of the files you downloaded. it is just a notepad file explaining what is in the files you downloaded. make sure that somewhere in that file it says either NTSC or Region Free. if not you will waste discs. that all i can think of for now, any questions just write back. typically i dont give this much information, but i am in a writing mood tonight. :) cheers
by the way that is just for downloading the files as for ripping off of a retial cd with your pc i dunno because i dont do it. you do have to have a special drive though, not just "any" drive can do what you want it to.
Well when i download the game it doesn't show up as a .rar file on my desktop it is a file folder and all the .rar files are in it. And yes i do have the verbitan dl disks.

thats fine, just open up the folder that has all the .rars in it, double click on the .rar01 file or whatever the first one is, and it should open up in winrar. then drag the .dvd and .iso into a new folder, and then burn the game with imageburn or clonecd.
