Mod chip for benq vad drive

All the mod chips say they work with Samsung and Hitachi but what about benq vad drives. I haven't yet found a mod chip that says its compatible with those drives. any and all help would be appreciated

Why are you looking at mod chips?

Why don't you just flash it?

I dont have all the cables or cards "sata card" and I don't want to try this and flash it wrong and be out of luck. I've worked alot with soldering and I feel that it would be the easiest way for me. thanks and are there any chips that will work for me

Look at it this way if you get a modchip you will still have to use the same procedure of flashing regardless if its a modchip or not.If you take the time to read the tutorial that covers your drive you shouldn't have any problems.I don't understand the logic behind using a modchip on a drive that doesn't need one.It will make you do more work just to end up with the same thing in the end.The only drives I can honestly consider looking into a modchip is the Hitachi 79 drives or the Phillips Lite-On drives if one exists for it in the future.Take my advise and don't make it harder than what it really is by doing extra work that is unnecessary.
