Help!! I have a Nokia 6102i and want to use it with a prepaid European SIM card. Is there anyone out there who can help me unlock my phone. I have already tried two codes that were provided by some of the paid services and they didn't work. So I really need a good unlock code before I try again. The phone information is:

Nokia 6102i
IMEI 359372/00/302509/5
Country USA
Provider Suncom Cellular

I contacted Suncom and they wouldn't help me:-(, and I really hate to purchase a new unlocked phone when I already have a perfectly good phone. Your help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have your model as a 6103, hmmm...Confirm before using code below!

Press *#0000# and if it says Nokia 6103 use the code provided. :)

Thanks for the suggestion Spencer, but when I press *#0000# the register indictes that I have a Nokia 6102I V 04.63

But at least I learned how to check the phone type.

Thanks Spencer, but I tried the code you provided and it didn't work either:-( That was my 3rd try. I understand that after 5 failed attempts your unlock function locks up so that you can't try any additional codes. Maybe someone else will have a suggestion. Have a Great day!!

What was the error ?

What happens when you insert a foreign sim ?

What Country and Network do you want to use the phone in ?

I get a SIM Card error message. I am trying to use a world phone card issued by Mobal Cell Phone out of the UK. Supposedly the SIM card is good in 160 countries. Thanks!
