I am using window's Vista. I have been backing up movies with no problems for a long time. I use DVDFAB HD, Shrink, Decrypter. When I am backing up movies in the past few days I have been getting an error. "DVD shrink has encounted an error and can not continue, The specified folder is invaled, Access denied" What is this? Is this a Vista issue. I had no problem since I bought this computer a few months ago. I reinstalled all my programs. I have another desktop with XP. It Has no problem Backing My movies up. BTW the movie is Bank Job and Rails and Ties. Anyone have any insight on this. Thanks

No issues on the Bank Job according to this thread.

I don't think it's a Vista issue as that is why I use, but haven't tried this title yet. Is your DVDFab HD Decrypter the most current?

The Bank Job is an easy rip. It didn't even require compression.

I didn't do this one on my Lappy, which runs Vista; but i'm inclined to agree with LOCO in that i doubt it's a Vista issue.

If properly updated, DvdFab Hd Decrypter should have zero issues with this title.

I'll re-rip for giggles alone and post back later.

Mark1526-Be sure the specified temp folder exist if not point to different folder or create new temp folder. I don't run shrink on vista but have read other threads on vista and shrink issues. From what I have read right click dvdshrink icon go to properties and compatibility tab under compatibility mode check Run this program in compatibilty mode and choose windows xp. There should be another option to run as administrator but not sure where that is let me check some other threads and see if explains.
