Hello, I think I read here or in another forum that it is better to store cds in regular jewel cases and not in slim cases. I searched for it, but nothing came up.

So is that actually true? I'm planning on archving some music and would like to know. Thanks.

Hiya,

If you are thinking of archiving on CD/DVD then you really should have a look at this:

WARNING: PDF Document, 50 PAGES....

thank you for the help.

it has a lot of useful info, especially the part about gold discs and resistance to corrosion. but i wonder how much of a practical difference it makes? owell, i'm just gonna use taiyo yudens cos i've got loads of them. maybe in 10 yrs i'll regret it :)
