I just baught a new computer without any SATA, i plan on buying a PCI-SATA tommorow. but i hear you have to have a compatible PCI-SATA to use a chipset needed for flashing. how would i find out if the one i am buying would be compatatable or not? or will any be ok to Flash the 360?

Well, from what Ive read the most stable thing you can get in terms of sata cards is a card with a VIA 6421 chipset. You can find a few here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis...+6421&x=17&y=30

Got my via vt6421 pci card with slax 2 disk off ebay for 99p, worked great with no problems!!

you should have the card these guys are talking about, because no, not all sata cards work.

Well, the good thing is that i am on a 46 ver Hitachi. so i baught a cheap USB - Sata........ i find i am making money off of these things now. a lot more people seem to wan't to buy a flashed 360 that can be set back to original state rather than chipping it.
