I had my wiikey installed a while ago, by a friend it was her first install and everything went fine. then cant remeber how long it was from the install i got a bunch of little lines running through the screen now. thought maybe i didnt attatch the ribbon or the white plug right but I checked still got same problem.also i think my fan stop working cuz it turns off by itself i hope i didnt kill my wii.

Well it sounds like some form of hardware error, you could check for shorts but other than that I guess someone with knowledge would have to look at it.

Fan doesn't work? From my reading the first thing to go when a Wii overheats is the GPU.

This is probably beyond self-repair.
