Is there any way to continue(ignore errors) to rip after an error is encountered and SmartRipper seems to hang? Or is there a DVD ripper that will ignore or skip bad tracks and continue to read all the way to the end of the DVD? Thanks.

DVD Decrypter will ignore errors. Get it, use it.

i used dvdfab to ignore read errors, worked well.
