I know this is free advertisement for whoever this seller is, but here is the cheapest prices I have ever seen for these. Alot of the times I am very sketchy about buying Verbs from ebay, but this guy has 989 feedback with 100% positive.. Its a go for me! 20 pk = $29.99!!

I just go to Microcenter and get mine for 24 bucks. I don't know how abundant those stores are, but there is one here in Houston where I am. 20 for 24 is just fine for me.

I'm def. not calling you a liar, but are you sure you are talking about the DL Printable Verbatims? Or just the regular 20 pack?

I don't know why you all use verbatims. I use memorex (at about $1 per disc) and I've never had a problem. No issues what-so-ever other than when I screwed it up because I did something stupid.

You guys pay for the premium, but if non-premium works just as well, why bother?

Lol because the memorex arent that great. I used to use memorex for my ps2 and it messed up my laser. It puts too much strain on it. Thats why everyone uses the best so their laser lasts longer. And the disc last longer too.

I've used memorex for non-360 stuff for years and never had a problem with lasers or discs.

Yea they work great for the pc and dvd players but when it comes to expensive game systems everyone wants the best. And also game system lasers are very sensitive. I mean they are about $1 each to. Thay go on sale alot where i live.

I just asked my friend who had a modded PS2, probably 100 games on memorex, and has had it for at least 3 years bought used which it was probably 2 years old when he got it. So 5 years old, 100 games ran through it on memorex, and never an issue.

I think you just got unlucky and chalked it up to "cheap discs".

Lol when i play my ps2 with memorex or cheap brands they tend to skip no matter how i burn them. What kind of ps2 does your friend have fat or slim. And also is his chipped or does he have to use swap magic?

It doesn't really make much difference. It only takes that one bad disk to ruin your laser.

verbs arent that much money, especially where i live since i just bought 150 of them for 100 bucks. i'd say that these would be cheaper than the crappy memorsucks discs.

Where I live, it's $1.50 to $2.00 for a verbatim. I'm not paying that kind of money for a disc when I have 100% success with the $1.00 discs.

And unless you have a site or proof that you can buy verbs for $100 for 150, I don't believe it. I've never any non-bulk DL discs for less than a dollar a disc on websites or in stores on sale.

Either way, it doesn't really matter. This is all opinion and brand loyalty. I don't mind memorex, you guys have had bad luck, whatever. I'm going to "risk it" and continue to pay less.

its called Sams Club, perhaps you should look into it. had them on sale for 33 bucks for a 50 back instead of the regular 60 bucks for a 50 pack. and honeslty, i dont care if you dont believe me, so oh well.

Here in canada, verbs go on sale for $25 for 20. That's $1.25 before taxes. Considering memorex discs are a dollar as well, then it's not much much more per disc to go premium discs. Verbs have treated me well; only 1 coaster so far for 8 backups. My dvd reader verifies and my xbox reads them everytime.

Yup verbatim have served me well too. It seems like iam unlucky with cheap brands. Sometimes they wont burn or when you burn them they wont play even tho i burn them right. (burn the same way on another disc) Anyway i didnt know sams sold verbatim. Iam going to look int this :) thnx for the info
