Downgrade PSP Custom FirmWare from 4.01 to 1.50

I got a PSP slim recently and I followed the "Legion" guide to install custom firmware from 1.50 and went all the way to 4.01 version.
And now, my son wants to play GBA on the PSP and it seems that the GPSP Kai or other version can work only in Custom Firmware version 1.50.
Is it possible to rollback the custom firmware from 4.01 to 1.50 ?
What is the disadvantage of going from 4.01 to 1.50 ?
If so, please guide me to an instruction on how to do it.

you cannot go below 3.60 since you have a slim. you will have to either run time machine, or find another gba emulator in 2.xx/3.xx kernel.

did u try to install the 4.01 1.5 kernel add on? it made it so most of my 1.5 programs worked that didnt in 4.01 alone. that is if u have 4.01 m33-2

i have a slim v3.80 psp. do i have to get a pandoras battery and use time machine and the 2.0gig memory card that came with the psp or do i just use pandora battery and dark alex's cemeterio app. ???please guide this newby.

i got a slim v3.80 psp. all i want to do is be able to play games i download off the net. is there a way to download v3.80 to a version that can play homebrews? if so what is it? do i need the pandora battery? do i need the cemeterio program by dark alex? please help.

also if i get my hands on a Lumines umd is that all i need to downgrade my firmware to a version that plays homebrews??

Lumines will only downgrade up to 3.50, above that Pandora is your only option
the 1.50 addon is for psp-100x models, NOT slims
1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

Thanks for all the replies. SO the bottom line is:
1. Since I have a slim, and I can not downgrade lower than 3.60
2. I can not use Time Machin 1.50 Add-on since the add-on only works for PSP 100x, not for SLIM.
3. To play GBA game, find emulator for 3.xx verions and downgrade to 3.60
Can anyone point me to the guide of downgrading custom firmware ?

apparently if your PSP came with firmware above 3.95 as a rule its not currently hackable.
