Hey guys was wondering what you use as far as the quality setting in DVD Shrink- Smooth,verysmooth,sharp,maximum sharpness? And has anyone done a test to see the difference.
Used to be a big deal several years ago if you used maximum smoothness or maximum sharpness because it took so long to do the trans-coding with the anemic CPUs available back then. Now that we all have fast CPUs, it's no longer much of an issue.
So for the last 2 years or so, I've been just automatically using the maximum sharpness on any and all DVDs that are transcoded using Shrink. I concluded years ago, that of the Shrink quality choices, maximum sharpness generally gave the best results.
