Is there a work around for this yet, loading the disk gives the 'system update required' window, to which it (quite nicely) says 'updating my render a modified nintendo unuseable'.

Obviously I didn't update, afraid that the spectre o' brick will come to me.

Anyway, I'm actually going to the bother of importing the instruments and want this to run. Dont suppose anyone has a definative answer yet?

I have 3.2U on my Wii and Rock Band did not ask anything about an update. That would make me assume it will install 3.2. Make sure you have the correct region and I would say you are OK to update.

what do you mean by 'correct region', i.e patch the disk to be pal? then let it update?
