Something weird going on with my PSP

Ok I have a fat PSP with 4.01 M33-2 on it and the following has happened to me twice with 2 different iso games. Ok so I click on the iso game to play it. The PSP intro screen comes up and then the screen goes black, the PSP freezes up for a few seconds and then the power turns off.

I then try to turn it back on and there is no video and the green light comes on for a few seconds and then turns back off. So next I try the recovery console by holding the right shoulder and turning it on but the recovery menu doesn't come up.

I let the PSP sit for like an hour and then retry and I can get to recovery console. Other iso games work fine with no problems at all. The memory stick is a 4Gb Sandisk Pro Duo and it shows Magicgate "supported". So could it just be bad isos that I have or any other ideas?

also try disabling the loading of moduals and boot.bin (under advanced configurations)

Hmm seems like the battery could be dead. Or maybe try exiting to the XMB while your in Recovery mode. I have heard alot of issues in 4.01 m33
If i were you i would try downgrading using pandora 1.50 original or maybe by launching a recovery app in The recovery menu to get back to 1.50. Could be a corrupt .ISO ... Try opening the bad ISO and the good ISO in the PC and make sure the files are all correct and none of them are gone. Tell me what games are not working and i will recommend a torrent for you. Make sure you are not running any custom .ptf themes that involve editing your gameboot (well at least in popstation) but make sure the Iso is in ms0:/ISO
and if you want. Try converting it to .cso and see if that does anything
Im on 3.90 m33 and i love it. Stick to that until theres a new game that requires a higher version ;)

I am a noob at this PSP cfw stuff. Can you tell me where I have to go to change the driver to the iso loader? Also where is the "advanced configurations" to disable the loading of the modules and the boot.bin?

I am kinda in the dark because my fat PSP was already had firmware on it when I bought it....I believe it was 3.50 M33 when I got it and I upgraded it myself to 4.01 M33-2. So this is why I am not aware of where these settings are......any help would be appreciated.
