Hey I don't really know if this has been posted before but I just bought myself a d2ckey wii-clip and I want to know the best way on how to open the wii up to install it. I've searched around everywhere and there were a whole bunch of different videos that show you how to disassemble it but they really confused me because I don't know if its purpose was to open it to mod it. If any of you guys can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I need the best method on how to open up the wii JUST to clip on the mod. if you have videos, it'd be nice too. and is it really necessary to take how that little battery thing from the bottom of the wii?

Alright cool. I don't more researching and I found two really helpful/indepth videos along with a website that has pictures with explanations. The first two links are the videos and the third link is the one with the pictures/explanations.

Yes you need to take out the small Battery. There is a screw under the cover.

You will also need a tri-wing screw driver.

It is not that complicated to disassemble the Wii.

Just make sure you keep track of the screws and where they go.

A way that I kept track is by following this guide HERE Step for Step. Each step I would take a small piece of paper labeling it the step I was on and taping the piece of paper and screws on that step to the tape.

After you dissemble the Wii and install the Modchip just follow the guide backward Step for Step.
