So i have a psp with CFW 3.71. i am playing Eboots very well but i cant play UMD files on my memory stick. I have tried almost everything.
so because of my custom fw 3.71, dont i have to do anything else or need any other software than just copy and paste the .ISO and .CSO files into the ISO folder in the PSP? if so, do i just put them straight into the ISO folder or create a new folder and write the name of the game inside the ISO folder on the PSP before i put the game in there?
and what if the ISO game is really an ISO but looks like a rar file.
i mean do they have special looks?

Hey,

All you have to do is make a .ISO folder in the root of your memory stick and then put your CSO/ISO's there. The games will come under the games menu under memory card. You can check this tutorial video I made on you tube it goes a bit more into depth about how to set drivers so you don't have to use a UMD etc..

Youtube video tutorial on how to play ISO/CSO's
Also if you want to learn how to compress the games to make them smaller you can check out this tut

Compression tutorial

Soz forgot to add...if a ISO looks like a rar file thats fine... you just have some option checked so it allows you to open ISO's aswell thats how people rip out updates to make the games smaller. If you want to get rid of it go into winrar then go OPTIONS>SETTINGS then click on the integration tab and you will see a little space called "Associate winrar with" and then all the file types and it has check boxes next to it. Uncheck ISO. It really doesn't matter because it won't make any difference what so ever.

Hope I helped

Max
