Patent Activation on Ultra 8 Box Retail edition?

I recently reinstalled Windows XP and NERO 8 again, and checked license in control centre which read expiration none, which is normal with retail version.
Today I downloaded a video file and played it, while still on the internet, after about 5 seconds of playing the video a box pops up saying that a duplicate patent activation of this copy of nero has been installed on another computer and ask's did I have to unistall nero from it, and do I require another license?.
When I ticked I unistalled from computer the box disapeared and hasn't been since, and control centre still shows license expiration none.
I still have full function of nero, so I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experiance after having to reinstall NERO? and can explain why the box even appeared despite license expiration showing none
