i havnt burnt any movies lately i went to burn the simpsons movie i already have once my hdd crashed so i am trying to locate the software i used i know i used img burn i know try to rip the simpsons movie but have an error saying copy right protected is there a reason behind this i am 98% sure i used it to rip last time and i cant seem to find what i used to compress to fit on a dvd-5 anyhelp it showed the video while compressing like in a fast forward way any help would be greatly appreciated

Imgburn does not rip or compress.

Use DvdFab Hd Decrypter to rip

Dvd Shrink to compress/transcode

Imgburn to burn.

thanx i found the program it was dvd decrpter i do use dvd shrink to compress i think and imgburn to burn for sure thanks i will let you know if any more issues arise

DvdFab Hd Decrypter is updated where as Dvd Decrypter is not.

dvd shrink is the compresser i was looking for but with dvd fab is there any bonuses cuz i like the simply user face of dvd decrypter and i havnt had issues with dvd decrpter yet

The bonus with DVDFab HD Decrypter is that it will rip movies that DVDD fails at and is still getting support through development. DVDD hasn't been updated in years and eventually you will run across a movie that it will not rip.
