converting Camcorder VR Mode dvd_rtav VRO file to AVI file

Been away for awhile, so Hi again - bought myself a Samsung VP-DX100 camcorder and had a problem with authoring the main file (VR_MOVIE.VRO) in MS Movie Maker. I searched the forums and others have had the same problem as me, I tried to reply to one such posting, but because it was over 60 days old - it was forbidden (touchy forum - what!)

Renaming the file extension VRO to MPG, will as we know enable it to run in PowerDVD or the like software.

Running it through Clone.AD creats a file extension of AVI, the AVI file can be imported into MS Movie Maker I found.
