So thinking about getting a psp but wanted to know how easy or if possible to mod to play backups, and hoping someone can point me to a link with something about this. now before you scream try searching i did...it wasn't that i pulled nothing up i pulled to much i didnt know wtf i was looking at and i couldn't find an answer with out reading what seemed like thousands of posts.
so...little help please...just a little push to the right link for me :)
I haven't bought it yet, but it gonna be a slim. one im thinking about getting on ebay seems to be new or at least in mint condition. just want to know basically how to do it really. want to know if im capable of doing it. i mean i modded my ps, ps2, and wii (DS too but that doesn't really count) and want to know what I'm getting myself into
well ... u dont mod the psp. U "hack" it. If you getting the slim, u are going to need the pandora battery. Here are some links and other stuff ...
To downgrade (and get a custom firmware) or unbrick your PSP, u need the Pandora's Battery. There is three ways to get the Pandora Battery.
1. Find a someone who has a Custom Firmware that is willing to let you borrow their psp. You will use their psp to softmod the battery. Meaning using software to make the Pandora. If you willing to do this, follow this guide:
GUIDE
2. Hardmod the battery. Meaning that you have to open that battery up, and pulling out a pin. Note that if you pull the wrong one, your battery would be messed. If you are willing to do this, follow this guide
GUIDE
3. The most safest way, is to buy the DATEL tool battery. It is already a premade pandora battery. If so, follow this guide or use the same guide on the second step.
GUIDE
hey thanks this is just what i needed, but question...
If i did the battery my self and did screw it up and break the battery could i then just get the DATEL battery? or if i screw it up is it gonna burn or blow up my psp?
Do i need a memory card? and if so do they use there own custom cards or is it microsd cards?
should i get a big card? because these cards they look expensive for bigger ones
sorry one last question and i think im good...does this only work with 2g and lower memory sticks? or is it that the games really dont take up that much space cause 2 gigs seems kinda small would like to hold a decent amount. like 10 or so...
oh and what about online play are you able to with backups?
