I have Speed Racer, it's in two AVI files (disc 1 and 2) I wouldn't mind keeping them in AVI but i want to put it on my PS3 HDD and would like it to be just one big file if possible. Is there a program (perferably free) that i can use to combine the two files into one?

AVIDemux.
File => Open, select first file.
File => Append, select second file.
File => Save => Save Video
Give it a full name (including extension) eg joined.avi

VirtualDub. Open first .avi file and scroll timeline to the very end of the file. Then go to File-> Append AVI file and choose your second avi file, this should join them together. But then you must go to the Video options and choose "direct stream processing." After that, go to File-> Save as AVI and about 2-3 later you have a nicely joined avi file.

Same as attar, just different program.

No timeline scrolling needed, just 'Append'.
