Ok so following the advice from another thread and getting more specific about my problem in a different thread...
I have multiple ISO files I'm trying to extract the files from, but I get these problems:
Self extraction using WinRAR: N/A
ISObuster: Just displays parent track without showing the files inside. When I click on sector view, I get an error until I check the box next to RAW.
CDMage: Is able to open them in RAW (*.iso) format, but gives error on suspected type (tried all of the options).
File Burner: Says that they are Audio/2352 and I could'nt figure out how to view/extract the files (help?).
Alcohol 120%: Doesn't recognize format, asks for manual entry.
BlindWrite: I couldn't figure out how to read the file with this (help?).
I am an ubernewbie at this type of thing, so any help at all would be appreciated.

For now insert a blank cd-r and open Alcohol 120>image making wizard>up near the top choose browse>where it says files of type, click the arrow down at the bottom and choose Standard ISO image file (*iso)>burn very slow. See if this will work. If these iso's are pc games you can download& install Daemon Tools and create a few virtual stealth drives then try and install& play the pc game. You "may" have to enable emulation for whatever pc protection lies within the game you're tying to play (if applicable). Good luck!

I don't know if this is going to make much of a difference, but I am running the trial version of Alcohol, and I don't see the option of (did you mean image 'burning' wiz, instead of 'making'?) "burn very slow" under the browse option.
How do you run stuff through Daemon Tools? Their help file wasn't that helpful...

Yes& sorry m8. Daemon Tools is a very easy program to use and designed to play pc gaming by mounting an "image" of a pc protected game from a created virtual stealth drive. First install the original pc game to your hd(backups will do as well). Now you have to do is insert the "play disc" and use Alcohol 120>image making wizard>choose correct data type profile>read image to your hd. Down in system tray you'll see the Daemon Tools icon. Set the virtual stealth drives to whatever you desire and emulation based on what pc protection lies within the pc game image you read to your hd. Right click Daemon Tools>mount image>play the game from your hd. :) Alcohol 120 has a "built in" virtual stealth drive program and you can use if you wan't to m8. Some games are "blaklisted" and Daemon Tools is designed specifically for playing pc games from a virtual stealth drive and less games are on the "blacklist".

Ok, so maybe I wasn't as clear as I could have been. I mounted the file onto my virtual drive, but how do I run it from there, while still in iso format?
Summing up:
I only have the back up copy at this point and I cannot read it with anything I have tried (which is nearly everything). What can I do to read/extract this file (gamefile.iso.exe), or is that possible?

I need to know what pc game you're trying to play from a created virtual stealth drive rather it be by Alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools and how many dis(s) the pc game contains so I know if there is any pc protection on it as you "may" have to use emulation. Once you've installed the backups to your hd, then you read the image of the "play disc">mount that image with Alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools>play the game from a virtual stealth drive you created. Did you create any virtual stealth drive(s)?

Now that you've told me the pc game title (fianlly), use A-RAY Scanner and toss in cd1 and scan, then cd2 and scan to determine the cd protection. Do you wan't to try and back the game up or play from a virtual stealth drive?. Afterdawn forums has a handy tool search feature so please use wisely m8.

I have Jedi Academy ISOs (.bin/.cue format) and I can't seem to burn them with Alcohol 120%. I've gone through all the help files, and tried a few different things, but I always get the same resualts. I've used Alcohol's emulated drive and Daemon's. Here's a log file from my latest try. I did a direct burn with the ISO in a Daemon emulated drive.:

I read the post on how to back up SecuRom 4.8.3 and it said that the CD needed to be copied to .ccd format for it to work. Is there any way I can convert my .bin files? Or can I just use them as is by changing some settings? Thx,
