Smash brothers not working on my wii?

Hi everyone, first of all i have a pal wii with wiikey and a US version of smash brothers brawl and when out the game in it comes up on the main menu but when I go into the game I can only see a blank screen with the title music playing in the background. I hardly know anything about wiikey so would be grateful for any help. thanks

It would be more helpful if someone could personally help me out like I said I don't know much about wiikey and I have a copied US version of ssbb.
