After following http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm step by step and correctly I always get green subtitles. I tried it with several movies. The picture is perfect but the green sub are frustrating. Help??

This gets asked all the time, search the forum.

you need to edit the IFO to tell it what colour to make the subs.
