Old PS2 board question

I opened my PS2 up to look take pics of the motherboard so i could find out which chip i could use. Its apparently an older version.. Anyway, my question is for anyone whos ever opened a PS2 (old) before, do I have to unsolder the big 4 pin connector in order to get to the other side of the motherboard?? from what diagrams look like i gotta install pins on both sides?

i took a few photos of my ps2 when i opened it..

The big power connector should just pull out with the psu, leaving the mobo free from everything..

I'm up to my 24 hours rapidshare limit.. please host pictures somewhere without limitations like http://www.zshare.net/ to avoid those type problems. It's hard to see what your problem may be without access to the pictures.

I'm a bit confused guy. You have pictures of the top and bottom of your mb. Wasn't your question on how to get to the bottom of your mb? Looks like you took a lot of stuff apart that you didn't have to. Next time just follow an online guide.
