Once the drive has been flashed in an xbox 360, is it relatively easy to update the custom firmware and dash etc..
If so does some one have a guide etc..
Would be great, have been looking around but not seen a lot of info apart from the initial flash.

p.s I ask as I have a laptop and am going to send my drive away for flashing
updating the firmware is the same process as done originally by connecting the 360's DVD Drive via a sata port and flashing, im assuming that you are sending it away for flashing as you dont have sata ports if using a laptop.
On the dash front there isnt any custom dashes available the hack at the moment is the firmware hack to play backups, there are rumours about dash hacks every now and again but nothing has been released. The 360 is pretty well protected in that area, we may never see it fully exposed, maybe we will who knows but nothing yet.
Yeh pretty much, bottom line despite whats said around, once you moddify the firmware you'll probably get banned from LIVE you might not but M$ constantly are looking for ways of finding this out, no one really knows exactly how they tell, so many theorys floating about.
