Hello,

I apologize in advance if these are stupid questions but I have searched hi and low and cannot figure this stuff out and hoped that one of you would be able to help me. I have 2 questions and any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. I have some .iso files, .mpg and some .vob files. I have a Xbox 360 that I plug an external drive into and it plays my .avi and .divx files from. How can I take the .iso and .vob and .mpg files and make them compatible for the 360 to view?

Note: Probably dumb, but I used WinRAR to extract the .vob's out of the .iso file and then tried to use VOBtoMPG v2.5 but it for some reason is always in a foreign language even though I can play the .iso file fine without switching settings.

2. I have about 20 files that are .avi that have a little red non smoking sign next to them and they will not play on the 360. It gives me an error that the codec is not supported. How can I recreate the .avi file to make it work like all the other .avi files I have?

What formats does the 360 play ?

In general, regarding the avi files, download Gspot and compare
the information between the working and non-working files.

Look at the audio format (left side of display half way down)
and video, top right.
