Guys recently my Mario Kart, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Super Galaxy have not been able to be read by my Wii. All my other software seems to be fine but all of a sudden those have stopped.

Updated with Mario Kart around 2 weeks ago and all was working fine until now. Has Nintendo got anything to do with blocking since the update 2 weeks ago?

Current settings are: PAL with Wiikey. Version 3.3E and 1.9s Firmware.

Any Ideas what it could be??

Did the games ever work after updating to 3.3 ?

They stopped working today and then I updated to 3.3...so I dont think the 3.3 upgrade has much to do with it!!

Do you think it could be down to the disk quality??

Currently using Tesco 8x DVD+R...

disk quality is everything with the Wii, use verbatim or Taiyo Yuden and all is usually well with the world.

I use Tesco's own DVD-R and have not had any issue with any of them. Don't see the point of paying loads of money for branded DVD's when the own label stuff will do.

It's really weird...after not working for 2 days, I popped the Mario Kart in and it worked. Strange, tho the other disks still not working.
