Using WiiBrickBlocker on NTSC wii with D2Pro9

my friend have a D2Pro version 2.1 9 wires and his console is NTSC and updated to the latest version 3.3U, When I insert Pal games it asks me to do a system update but I never do .. I know it could ruin the wii "brick it" , I was wondering if using a brickblocker on those pal games can somehow harm the wii and, if is there a problem with using brickblocker on every pal game or should I use it only on those which want the update ??

Run all non region games thorugh brickblocker and you will be fine. Apparently some games do not work after been brick blocked but I am yet to find one.
