Adding to the correct words of 7thsinger, can we assume the "got" file is an ISO or VIDEO_TS, normal DVD files? That size file is perfect for a DVD so it makes me think so but just making sure in case you have trouble with those programs.

Deadrum brings up a good point...if your recently acquired season of Rome is another format, avi for instance, there will some conversion tossed into the mix.

It shouldnt matter if its dvdrw, but burning things to keep on that sort of disc almost defeats the purpose of it reusability but its up to you.
Many DVD players these days can play .avi (DivX, Xvid) and it looks like you have a disc made for that purpose. If you want to watch them on a regular player, you should convert it to DVD with this free program, DVD Flick.

There are other programs that do this but some people like this one and its free. Heres a guide on using it.

You will probably need to take an episode off your disc, run it through DVD Flick and its output can be burned to disc for a standard DVD player. Let us know how you fare.

I've been using DVD Flick to ImgBurn and it has been working great. DVD flick is pretty user friendly but take a long time to convert but does a great job.
The only coasters I have made have been my own fault with burning a PAL version and not knowing it.
One thing about the RW, for me, once you "rerecord on pc" they tend to not work in your dvdr player. at least mine, but if you intend to burn once they will be fine. I made the mistake of purchasing those types because I thought I needed the rw format to record off tv multiple espisodes, not knowing that I can use dvd +/- r's instead.
Hope this helps.

I'll agree, but if you want to afterdawn.com also had two others, which I think are still available freeware: dvd shrink, and dvd decrypter. I use these to keep the dvd quality intact, however if I'm not mistaken with shrink you now need nero.
Just adding two cents... anyone is free to correct me for being either an idiot, or wrong.

For Xvid, convertxtodvd and DvdFlick are proper programs to use.
Quote: however if I'm not mistaken with shrink you now need nero.
You can use Nero, but you can also use Dvd Decrypter, or it's updated burn engine Imgburn, which is also freeware.
