Thing is why are Sony keeping the changelog secret? I havent installed it yet but I hear it's a big update. If it was a small update then sure they could keep quiet, but a big update means big changes which ppl will want to know about. All they've said is that it makes playing the games more stable.

Who thinks Sony are hiding something there? (hopefully something which would have allowed homebrew :P )

Some official on Sony's site said:

Maybe it will improve my linux from the constant headaches I encounter. Yes, Ive been getting frustrated lately with my PS3. I still love it though.
