Pandora or Just screwed up battery?

When I was making my pandora battery I accidentally cut the connection that connects the battery to the board (there's two, I mean the one in line with the knobbly it of the battery).

Nevertheless, I cut the line in the board at #19 and fixed the other broken connection with some aluminium foil. :) lol

When I put my battery back in, it just shows the green light and does not boot up in any way. However, If I leave the battery out, run it on the AC adaptor, put the battery back in, and remove the AC adaptor it works fine.

So I suppose there are two possibilites..

1. The battery is a Pandora but the #19 wire is what makes the PSP boot up and I haven't made my magic memory card correctly.

2. The aluminium foil probablt isn't good enough and I probably just need a battery because it has gone beyond repair.

Which one is it? Thanks in advance.

Ask any further questions and tell me if I am unclear, but BRB for the mo.

the battery's EEPROM is screwed, buy a new one.
